They are among 36 migrants sent to Cameroon under a US third-country deportation agreement. Now living under restrictions in Yaounde, unable to work and awaiting asylum decisions, they describe feeling stranded in a country where they have no ties. Their case highlights growing concerns over US immigration policy, asylum protections and the fate of vulnerable deportees under the administration of President Donald Trump.
