Cameroon allocates 8.5 billion FCFA for water projects in 2026

The Cameroonian government has committed 8.5 billion FCFA to improve water access in 121 municipalities. This funding was announced by the Minister of Water and Energy, Gaston Eloundou Essomba, during a meeting held on August 7, 2026, in Batchenga.
