Led by Jean Claude Nguemeni, the mission began with a meeting at the Technical Committee for Monitoring Economic Programs, chaired by Jean Tchoffo. Strategic Planning Workshop
Following the mission's launch, a three-day workshop began on September 2, 2026, at the CEMAC Representation in Yaoundé. This workshop, presided over by the Vice-President of the Commission, focuses on the Strategic Plan for 2027-2030 and the Budget-Program. It is a critical step towards fostering regional integration and ensuring that member states are aligned with the strategic objectives.
The workshop aims to facilitate the appropriation of the strategic plan by member states, ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged in the process. This collaborative approach is expected to strengthen the implementation of economic policies across the region, addressing the diverse challenges faced by CEMAC countries.
